The foundation makes grants to various organizations that support youth, such as ronald mcdonald charities, community youth concepts, greenwood school, sleep in heavenly peace, and the miracle league of des moines kiwanis. Grants are also made to organizations supporting disadvantaged youth for campships. Events are also held in conjunction with various social service agencies in the des moines area during the holiday season to provide a holiday celebration and gifts to the children these organizations serve. During 2023, due to ongoing membership concerns, the supported orgainzation terminated thereby causing the board of directors to terminate this organization and liquidate its assets for distribution to 501(c)(3) organizations, as required by its bylaws. See schedule n. All grants are made in conjunction with the supported organization in furthering its charitable mission.
