01What it does

What Joys Hope Inc does

Mission

To raise money in order to offer transitional rehabilitative services to newly released incarcerated individuals in order to reduce recidivism.

As stated on its FY2021 Form 990-EZ.

Program

In our very early states of being conceived and birthed as a first time nonprofit organization we were able to acquire our tax-exempt status with the IRS, we acquired out solicitation license through the state of NC, and we were able to begin to apply for grants as a newly established organization. Due to being new and not quite sure of how to go about filling out for grant monies, we weren't able to acquire monies we applied for but we were able to learn from our experience and continue to move forward in forming connections and partnerships with other similar organizations in our surrounding areas and create public awareness.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.
