What Jmaks Dream Team does
Mission
Jmak's dream is to see other people realize their dreams. jmak's launch into eternity is propelling his dream forward. because of jmak, there are people with new businesses, new homes, new friends and new futures!

Programs
Work visa program - submitted payments for 7 work visas to bdv solutions. this program is a defined pathway to the u.s. through employment. in addition to making the visa payments for 7 families, the organization conducted virtual English classes throughout the year in order to better prepare the future employee and their family members for employment and life in the united states.
displaced people support - we are committed to supporting displacing vz families in Lima that worked with our friend jmak and face ongoing obstacles to self-sufficiency. while peru has allowed displaced Venezuelans to live and work, there is rampant discrimination that makes it difficult to find jobs that pay a livable wage and safe housing for families. we assisted with housing and basic needs for 10 families total. in addition, there were two families that arrived in the u.s. through the welcome corps refugee visa program. we paid initial start-up expenses for the two families. these expenses included basic household goods, groceries, and baby items. in addition, we also paid for a short-term construction job training program for one individual.

Who funds it, year by year
2022 → 2023: the base held at 1 funder, grant income rose $10k → $25k.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of JMAKS DREAM TEAM’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of JMAKS DREAM TEAM's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $175k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
