Programs
Public policy: board of directors met with the county supervisors and auditor to review the proposed budget and to lobby for additional funding for county rural roads and bridges. The county board of directors lobbied our state legislators several times throughout the year at town hall legislative forums and a day at the capitol on members' priority issues. The wright county farm bureau invited its members to attend the wright county annual meeting in august with a meal served at the heartland museum in clarion. Education, ag in the classroom, ag promotion: wright county farm bureau ag in the classroom coordinator made numerous classroom presentations at the clarion, eagle grove and belmond elementary schools where well over 500 students from preschool through sixth grade learned about modern farm animal production and the numerous by-products that come from each species. The county sponsored a basketball ag trivia event at the b-k vs cgd girls and boys' basketball games in january. Four names were drawn and given the chance to win a gift certificate at each of four different spots on the basketball court. At each location, the contestants were asked a multiple-choice ag trivia question. If unsure of the answer, they had the opportunity to "call a farmer" (the farmer was a wcfb board member attending the game) for help. The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2020, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2020, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2021 to 2022, from $368k to $1.4M (+268%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 0 of the last 6 reported years ran a deficit.

Leadership and staff
The officers, directors, trustees and key employees listed on each return. Joined and no longer listed compare each filing with the year before, matching people by surname and first initial; a year after a gap, or a roster under three people, has no comparison.
