01What it does

What Independent Journalism Foundation does

Mission

To promote independent media throughout southeast asia through workshops, training seminars and consultancies. To offer support and guidance to media professionals in eastern and central europe where ijf used to run centers for independent journalism.

As stated on its FY2020 Form 990-EZ.

Program

During 2020, ijf continued its episodic support of the hungarian center for independent journalism as the situation for the media worsened. It also completed documentation to fully separate the center from ijf pursuant to hungarian law. In 2020, ijf began the process of winding down its operations. The board adopted a plan of dissolution which will be completed mid-2021.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
