What Housing Is Your Right Inc does
Mission
Our Mission is to provide resources ensuring housing stability for those affected by the housing crisis ultimately improving mental, physical, and emotional health throughout marginalized communities
As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.
Program
Housing Is Your Right has helped over 100 families stay housed since our inception in 2022. In 2023 we rolled out two programs to help homeowners communicate with their lenders through restructuring their mortgage loans and education and financial literacy workshops. Loan Modification Counseling and Housing Support: (100% of clients have gone through this program) Majority of our clients are helped with our Loan Modification Counseling and Housing Support program. During this program we find out our clients housing crisis and navigate the correct channels for housing resolution and sustainability. These channels involve negotiating with the bank on our clients behalf to reinstate their loan by reducing the interest rate, recasting the loan over 40 years, and placing all delinquencies on the rear of the loan. As well as Financial Literacy and Education Workshops.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2023, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2023, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2023 to 2024, from $79k to $2k (−97%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
43% of HOUSING IS YOUR RIGHT INC’s revenue is contributions — about as donation-reliant as the typical peer (52% for the typical peer).
