01What it does

What Hope House III Inc does

Mission

Our mission is to provide individualized treatment to those living with a substance use disorder (sud). Individuals receive education and support allowing them to discover and pursue their life's interests with family, friends and employers, to be self-sufficient members of their communities. In addition, we provide awareness and education on substance use and the disease of addiction to families and the community at large.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

On its FY2024 return the organization reported starting a significant new program.

Hope house iii started doing recovery coaching which is basically group therapy sessions for clients who have already graduated from our substance abuse program and have now moved into our graduate house at hope house iii to continue receiving outpatient treatment while reentering society and gaining employment. The recovery coaching revenue is included in the program revenue listed below (it is not listed as a separate program).

Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 2).

  1. The corporation owns a property in dorchester, massachusetts and has redeveloped it as a residential facility for persons who have graduated from certified alcohol and substance abuse treatment recovery programs ("project"). This furthers the exempt purposes of the corporation in that it provides a residential facility that offers a range of social services to recovering substance abusers.
