What Greater Spokane Action does
Mission
Greater Spokane Action (GSA) is the political arm of Greater Spokane Progress (GSP), reshaping politics by educating, advocating and mobilizing to establish and strengthen equitable and progressive policies in our community.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Program
GSA is a non-partisan hub for grassroots organizing and political engagement that works year-round to center the voices of BIPOC and impacted communities to hold elected officials accountable and promote progressive policies - locally and statewide. We are using our voices and building community power to advance our vision of equity and justice, creating the change we want to see. In 2025 we developed our network's legislative agenda and engaged our network in advocating for our tier 1 and other legislative priorities. We worked with members of our Voter Engagement Committee to develop communications about the importance of voting in local elections. and the issues that elections impact like housing.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2021, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2021, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $208k to $120k (−42%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
100% of Greater Spokane Action’s revenue is contributions — about as donation-reliant as the typical peer (100% for the typical peer).
