Programs

  1. Art see- an annual art exhibition where ggfyp invites local artists to share their work with the public. Each artist is paid to participate in the exhibition and can keep all revenue they make at the event. Aside from the artists, complimentary food and beverages are a major draw for the event. Ggfyp paid 12 local artists to feature their work and provided complimentary food and beverage for all 190+ attendees. Food is catered by the north dakota museum of art and the beverages are purchased from happy harry's.

  2. Annual launch- this event is an annual celebration of the accomplishments of ggfyp and its members. Yp leaders talk about the trajectory of the organization, members are recognized for their dedication, and everyone can help themselves with complimentary food and beverages. The 2025 annual launch was held at the cloud 9 events, which was reserved at a discounted rate, with major expenses being: food, beverages, trophies, and activity booth materials. Food and beverage were provided to all 70+ attendees.

  3. Lunch/dinner & learns - ggfyp hosts monthly lunch/dinner & learns during which an expert on a particular topic comes in and presents on said topic while all atendees are treated with free lunch/dinner.

GREATER GRAND FORKS YOUNG PROFESSIONALS leans on a few funders — its largest provides 94% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

94% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund GREATER GRAND FORKS YOUNG PROFESSIONALS.
