What Gordon Bailey PTA does

Mission

Gordon Bailey PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. In 2024-2025, we supported the children and school community at bailey elementary in various ways. We prioritize spending and support for the entire school community, and secondarily grade level spending. Our fundraising allowed us to contribute to field trip expenses for all students, provide classroom funds for teachers and other staff, technology subscriptions for the media department, and new instruments in the music department. This year we also purchased a substantial number of books for the library. For specific grade level programs, we supported programs in conjunction with compas (an artist-in-residence program) and the minneapolis institute of arts. We also provide financial support to our school's 5th grade celebration, which is a graduation. We know that not all students get the same support and celebration at home and want them to be able to celebrate the milestone of moving on to middle school with their school community. Our fundraisers also support our students in various ways. Our biggest fundraiser, apex, brings in their team to go to classrooms and give lessons and support on motivational messages such as resilience and teamwork. At our bookfair we try to get a…

1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

From the IRS filings of GORDON BAILEY PTA’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.

Where its funders are

100% of GORDON BAILEY PTA's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $45k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
