What Gallup Children's Museum does
Mission
K'e, a din word meaning kinship, family connection, and belonging, is the core of our vision. Through hands-on, engaging exhibits, we foster a sense of community where children and families can connect with each other and the world around them. Play is the language of learning, and research shows it's essential for developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Program
Operated 9 interactive, hands on exhibits 14 hours a week, serving over 15,000 visitors. The museum implemented 6 educational programs that totaled 216 hours and 4 special community events that expanded opportunities for families in gallup.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2024, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2024, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $60k to $115k (+93%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2025 51%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.
75% of GALLUP CHILDREN'S MUSEUM’s revenue is contributions — more donation-reliant than the typical peer (64% for the typical peer).
