01What it does

What Futuro San Antonio does

Mission

Futuro San Antonio mobilizes families to organize and advocate for education equity by engaging voters, building organizing capacity, and endorsing educational champions. See Schedule O

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

  1. Futuro San Antonio strengthened its political and perception power in the Spring 2025 municipal cycle by building an in-house canvassing program that knocked on over 10,000 doors, engaging more than 2,000 residents through its Voices for Education campaign, and reaching 158,862 voters through SMS, calls, and field outreachefforts that earned recognition from local media as a key education advocacy voice. This influence led to a major policy win securing over $100,000 from Bexar County for Summer Boost programs serving more than 9,000 students, while also driving a historic shift in public priorities by elevating education from the 9th to the 4th most important issue for San Antonio voters.
