What Friends of McKellar Park Inc does
Mission
To support the development of McKellar Park in our rural community; with the first priority being raising money to replace our community pool.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Programs
This is the year where we experienced major program expenses related to building the pool project. We successfully completed the development and opening of a community Swim Pond to great excitement by our community and surrounding areas. We continued our community-based goal of being present at all major community events like homecoming holiday events golf events where we collected donations including a holiday letter appeal. We had several hundred participants during the year at these events. We also launched a bath house building campaign to be completed in 2026. In total about 1,200 visits to the Swim pond were logged during the pilot opening period and included visitors from 55 different counties in Wisconsin and 12 states.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2022, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2022, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $292k to $152k (−48%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
65% of Friends of McKellar Park Inc’s revenue is contributions — more donation-reliant than the typical peer (18% for the typical peer).
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 1 of the last 4 reported years ran a deficit.
