01What it does

What Friend Ship does

Mission

Addressing the epidemic of social isolation and loneliness through programs that support adults making meaningful friendships.

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. The organization fulfilled its program service accomplishment by providing programs that support adults in understanding the value of building social connections. The program focused on adults who were socially isolated, worked from home, were neuro-divergent, had adverse upbringings, social anxiety, or other factors which hindered their ability to connect socially and make new friends. The primary programming focused on bringing these adults together to discuss experiences with friendship, provide an opportunity to practice socializing, and address any barriers to social interactions that caused them to struggle when building a social safety net.
