01What it does

What Elderwise Learning does

Mission

The mission of Elderwise Learning is to offer opportunities for lifelong learning and camaraderie to adults in southeast Michigan.

As stated on its FY2026 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Elderwise offered 3 terms of classes for seniors, each term offered an average of 55 two hour sessions. We have about 270 active members and each session is attended by about 20 members. Our goal is active, engaged and socialized seniors and we are achieving that goal. We are finally rebounding from the loss of attendees we experienced during Covid.

Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
