Monitoring surveys to detect the presence and abundance of sea turtles after beach nourishment and installation of artificial reefs in Brevard County. Sea turtles are protected under state and federally laws. As part of the environmental assessment of the impact of beach construction on threatened and endangered species and their habitat. Required monitoring for Joint Coastal Permitting for beach construction projects. Funding includes 2025 field monitoring, summaries, and final report report completion. Also, includes permitting.
