01What it does

What Early Childhood Services does

Mission

Early Childhood Services (ecs) is a nebraska not-for-profit organization created in 2010 that is committed to ensuring that families of young children (prenatal to age eight) receive support to promote healthy lifestyles and to increase educational attainment for parents and their children. Ecs strives to improve quality of early childhood development, by way of positive early care and education opportunities, comprehensive health services, special needs intervention and family support through a collaboration of community providers.

As stated on its FY2019 Form 990.

Program

Early Childhood Services (ecs) coordinates the work of multiple community-based programs serving low-income pregnant and young parenting teens. Ecs leads a collaborative network of local service agencies to meet the growing needs of young families in the community. Working together, this partnership provides a full range of essential services and guidance to help young parents build strong families.
