Mission

EAGLES NEST PROJECTS OF NORTH TEXAS serve as an educational organization researching promoting supporting fostering and engaging in aviation and aerospace education and Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics STEM education.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. The Organizations program is mentoring McKinney ISD aviation students. Our volunteers do that almost every school day during the students first two class periods. 7:25 am - 8:45am Our primary way of mentoring is by teaching the students to build an airplane. We also have mentors that teach students to fly. We do that in two ways first is by using the simulators at the school and second is by taking them flying in airplanes built by the program. The actual flights take place during after school hours.
