What Downtown Brentwood Coalition does
Mission
The mission of the Downtown Brentwood Coalition is to enhance economic growth of the downtown area by focusing on education, promotion and development of the business community, and those areas of the community affecting business.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Program
The synergy created by business owners has blossomed into a plan for a year-long schedule of activities and events. The plan encompasses a wide range of ages, genders, and socio-economic backgrounds with an even wider range of activities that will bring residents to the downtown area and introduce them to the varieties and depth of the businesses. It is vital to the overall health of the city to have the businesses in the downtown area thriving.
The program described on its FY2024 Form 990.
The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2024, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2024, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $35k to $86k (+146%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2024 42% · 2025 12%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.
58% of DOWNTOWN BRENTWOOD COALITION’s revenue is contributions — about as donation-reliant as the typical peer (62% for the typical peer).

Leadership and staff
The officers, directors, trustees and key employees listed on each return. Joined and no longer listed compare each filing with the year before, matching people by surname and first initial; a year after a gap, or a roster under three people, has no comparison.
