01What it does

What Dare 2 does

Mission

At Dare2(HungerStops), we believe no one should face hunger alone. Our mission is to nourish our community by providing essential groceries and household goods, bridging the gap between immediate relief and long-term independence

As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.

Program

  1. At HungerStops, we believe that access to healthy food is a fundamental human right. In 2024, we remained steadfast in our commitment to supporting our neighbors struggling to make ends meet. Through the dedication of our local volunteer network, we successfully distributed over $33 million in fresh groceries and daily-use household essentials directly to those in our community. We are proud to report that, throughout the year, our facility served more than 100,000 individuals and families, ensuring that those facing food insecurity had the nourishment they needed to thrive. Beyond the statistics, our work represents 100,000 instances of hope, relief, and support for families working toward a more stable future.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
