01What it does

What Cuckolds Fog Signal and Light Station Council does

Mission

The Cuckolds Fog Signal is a volunteer-led initiative to stabilize, rebuild, and restore the light station. It serves as the front porch light for the Boothbay Region.

As stated on its FY2020 Form 990.

Program

The Inn at Cuckolds Lighthouse is no longer available to overnight guests. The lighthouse remians available to the public but visitors to the island do so on their own. Volunteers still help maintain and protect the island and light station to ensure the historic property is a delight to see from the mainland, the ocean, or the island.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990, which lists programs largest first by expense.
