01What it does

What Clothing the Homeless Inc does

Mission

Our goal is to meet the needs of homeless men and women with clothing and necessities for life on the streets while endruing different seasons and weather. Most other clothing events require vouchers and are a bus ride or more away from the recipient's location, making it challenging for them to receive clothing. We partner with organizations that help the homeless. Some provide food, others provide medicine; we provide clothing.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. Serve approximately 150 people in a month, amounting to over 1,200 items of clothing. To prepare for distributions, it collect, wash, sort and mar sizes on every article. All conations are kept organized in a storage facility. It distribute clothes and other necessities directly to the homeless in costa mesa, santa ana, riverside and anaheim.

Each line starts at 100 in 2023, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2023, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
