01What it does

What Circle of Friends for American Veterans does

Mission

The Circle of Friends for American Veterans (cofav) creates awareness of the problems facing veterans, while educating the public and congress of the solutions for veterans, especially homeless veterans.

As stated on its FY2019 Form 990.

Program

The Circle of Friends for American Veterans (cofav) creates awareness of the problems facing veterans, while educating the public and congress of the solutions for veterans, especially homeless veterans. By molding public opinion, cofav helps shape public policy. Cofav directed an ongoing earned media campaign to national, regional and local media outlets, to inform the public about the needs and solutions of veterans. News releases were directed to reporters whom staff had determined cover veterans affairs, including those with daily newspapers, wire services, radio stations, major blogs, websites, television stations and other opinion leaders.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990, which lists programs largest first by expense.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
