01What it does

What Christian Youth Athletics does

Mission

Christian Youth Athletics provides youth ages 4 to 13 with the opportunity to play competitive baseball, soccer and basketball in a positive, christ-centered environment.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Programs

  1. Christian Youth Athletics has provided competitive team sports to children ages 4-13 in a positive, instructional atmosphere since 1978. The league was founded by bart pierce, a local area pastor, to create an instructional and competitive league where churches and community members could come together and inspire another generation to have christ-like character, develop their athletic ability, and build positive relationships with teammates. This is a league where parents will not have to worry about their child being put down and discouraged or parents fighting with referees or coaches. This is our league's 44th year of offering youth sports leagues for baseball, basketball, and soccer.

  2. During the 2024 fiscal year the Christian Youth Athletics league connected with a youth baseball league in the bahamas. To promote commaradarie and to deepen the life and baseball experience of the youth involved in both leagues, the us youth athletes traveled to the bahamas, and the bahaman youth athletes received and hosted the us youth athletes, and all competed in the first annual us & bahaman Christian Youth Athletics baseball tournament.
