What Chila Inc does
Mission
To provide high quality primary care for the populations of rural Guatemala
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Program
In 2025,we held our annual Medical Mission in partnership with a dental non-profit and we were able to bring medical and dental care to over 400 patients in Chisec Guatemala and its surrounding mountain villages. We held our mission at our clinic site in Chisec and also provided a mobile dental and medical clinic to 2 remote villages outside the town of Chisec. We established over 100 new patients for complex and chronic medical care management. We referred these patients for specialty consults for further medical management, diagnostics and surgical procedures. CHILA pays for these services, provides patient accompaniment and translation services from Spanish to Q'eqchi for this indigenous population. CHILA added patients to the growing roster of our Diabetes Clinic where we manage patients suffering from diabetes. We provide continuous diabetes care which includes medications, blood sugar assessment, diabetes education, and risk factor assessment for kidney and cardiac health.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2019, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2019, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.

How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
55% of CHILA INC’s revenue is contributions — about as donation-reliant as the typical peer (100% for the typical peer).
