What Chesterton Academy of Saint Padre Pio does
Mission
Inspired by Saint Pope John Paul II, we take as our motto Cultura Vitae, the Culture of Life. We make it our mission to prepare our students to triumph over the materialism and despair that pervade our culture and to accept our Lord's offer to have life and have it abundantly. Our classical curriculum combines a broad liberal arts education with a strong emphasis on the cultivation of Christian virtues and an appreciation of beauty.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Chesterton Academy of St. Padre Pio opened doors in August 2024, welcoming the inaugural class with offerings for ninth and tenth grades. The fiscal year spanning July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025 marked our first year of operation and was a year of many significant milestones. Among the highlights was the first Fine Arts Night, an evening that showcased student learning in art, drama, dance, and music-cornerstones of our curriculum. Parents were especially struck by what their children accomplished, particularly students who might not ordinarily choose to perform on stage. The growth in character, confidence, and self-expression was remarkable to witness. Hosting such an event in a school's first year was also a noteworthy achievement within the Chesterton Schools Network. Academically, several students earned top honors on the National Latin Exam and performed well on the national Classical Learning Test. Despite being in the inaugural year, several universities visited the school to meet with the students, a testament to the strong national reputation of Chesterton Academies. The school also successfully met all operational expenses through fundraising efforts, drawing…

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2024, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2024, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.

Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $95k to $37k (−61%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.

Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of CHESTERTON ACADEMY OF SAINT PADRE PIO’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of CHESTERTON ACADEMY OF SAINT PADRE PIO's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $10k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
