The ward family foundation is a public charity, rooted in christian principles, supporting youth character development through sports, education, the arts and wellness and supporting disaster relief initiatives. The charlie & tonja ward family foundation launched the multisport shoe drive in 2024 and supported 200 young athletes participating in pop warner and cheer programs. Our goal is to ensure that every child who wants to be part of a team has the footwear they need to compete safely and confidently. By meeting this critical need, we help keep children physically active, build confidence, and foster their growth within the structure and mentorship of team sports. The charlie & tonja ward family foundation also hosts mentor leadership basketball clinics annually. These free clinics are designed to engage youth through a dynamic blend of basketball training, life skills development, and exposure to steam (science, technology, arts, and math) concepts. Through these programs, we are investing in the whole child - body, mind, and spirit - and empowering the next generation of leaders both on and off the court.
