01What it does

What Casoro Group Education Foundation does

Mission

Closing the generational wealth gap and increasing diversity in the real estate industry through education, experience, and opportunities.

As stated on its FY2022 Form 990.

Program

On its FY2022 return the organization reported starting a significant new program.

In support of Casoro Group Education Foundation's (cgef) original mission, program services have been expanded beyond the education pillar described in the irs form 1023 application for exemption from income tax to the e4 approach - expose, educate, experience, and earn. The new programs are: expose: Casoro Group Education Foundation (cgef) exposes students by speaking at career days and other events. Our goal is to expose students early that real estate investing and all various related professions is how many generate wealth. In addition, we provide high school guidance counselors with materials they need to help their interested students identify the post-secondary schools that provide the real estate industry education and the right career path for those who chose it. Experience: businesses look more favorably on job candidates with prior experience, which makes this increasingly important for cgef to offer to students. Students gain valuable, hands-on experience through internships and benefit from the wisdom of mentors. Earn: graduates are better positioned for job placements and increased earnings with the knowledge, experience, and relationships they gain through the efforts of cgef. Start-up support and guidance is available from cgef for graduates who are entrepreneurs and want to start their own real estate industry-related businesses.

Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 2).

1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 99% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.

How concentrated its funding is

CASORO GROUP EDUCATION FOUNDATION leans on a few funders — its largest provides 99% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left

99% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund CASORO GROUP EDUCATION FOUNDATION.

Where its funders are

99% of CASORO GROUP EDUCATION FOUNDATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Of the $500 that is directly attributable, 100% of it comes from Texas funders.

Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $40k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been.
