What Camp Goodbuddy does
Mission
The Goal of CGB inc. as a whole is to join the work of God in bringing peace, freedom and joy into the world of skateboarders. We will work at this mission through embodying acceptance, kindness and communion with the Triune God first within ourselves, and secondly within our community: The world of skateboarding and the arts. Our efforts will be centralized around but not limited to our summer camp and spring camp seasons, discipleship trips and weekly rhythms of serving our local skate community. As the primary tool and platform of CGB inc., our summer camp known as Camp Goodbuddy, is our foundation for accomplishing these aforementioned goals. The goal of our summer camp and spring camp sessions are to carry out our organization-wide mission statement, but to cater it specifically toward children in our local community, as well as children involved with skateboarding ministries nationally.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Program
We were able to serve over 175 people in the skateboarding community by providing a safe space to come, feel welcomed, and experience something so different from their normal lives. We primarily provided 5 day sessions of life changing connection for children who often come from underserved communities and difficult home lives. We were also able to host people from our community to come out with friends and family for a day and gather together to skate and experience what Camp Goodbuddy is all about.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2023, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2023, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2023 to 2024, from $18k to $10k (−46%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
43% of Camp Goodbuddy’s revenue is contributions — more earned-revenue than three-quarters of its peers (100% for the typical peer).
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 2 of the last 3 reported years ran a deficit.
Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of Camp Goodbuddy’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of Camp Goodbuddy's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $28k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
