What Cadmus Corporation does
Mission
The Cadmus Corporation has as its mission the support, financially through charitable donations, administratively through volunteer assistance, and educationally through workshops and courses, activities in the Southern New Hampshire area and elsewhere that are an extension and elaboration of the original work of Dr. Rudolf Steiner, Austrian philosopher, scientist and artist (1862-1925). This includes Waldorf Education; Bio-dynamic Agriculture; Steiners Spiritual Science, or Anthroposophy, which concerns a modern path of spiritual self-development; an Anthroposophically-extended approach to medicine and the care of the developmentally disabled; and new artistic impulses and new social forms inspired out of the worldview of Anthroposophy. Agricultural work includes acquisition and holding of farm and or conservation land for food production and the benefit of the community and environment.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Program
On its FY2024 return the organization reported starting a significant new program.
The organization, Cadmus, took over the properties of the farm at 195 Isaac Frye Hwy in Wilton, New Hampshire (Temple Wilton Community Farm, the "Farm") formerly held by the Educational Community Farm in Wilton, NH (the "ECF"). As such, the organization undertook a new program as the new owner of the Farm's assets in order to purchase and renovate a new Farmer's Residence during March 2025 for $331,900. The Farm land, buildings and Farmer's Residence are owned and maintained by Cadmus.
Its own explanation, from Schedule O of that return (Part III, line 2).
Amounts represent $86,428 funds raised to purchase and renovate housing for farmers in connection with the Temple Wilton Community Farm, the "Farm", which were capitalized for accounting purposes plus 2,000 rent charged to the farm. The funds raised were used to purchase and renovate a new Farmer's Residence during March 2025 for $331,900. Not included above are the values of the properties contributed by the Educational Community Farm ("ECF") as described above and reflected in Schedule B as a non-cash contribution.

Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 2 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 75% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of CADMUS CORPORATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
How concentrated its funding is
CADMUS CORPORATION leans on a few funders — its largest provides 75% of grant income and the top three 100%; half comes from just 1 funder.
the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 1 funder to its left
100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund CADMUS CORPORATION.
“Effective funders” = inverse Herfindahl index (1 / Σ shareᵢ²) — the number of equal-sized funders that would give the same concentration. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
75% of CADMUS CORPORATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Of the $10k that is directly attributable, 100% of it comes from New Hampshire funders.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $30k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
