01What it does

What C-Impact Inc does

Mission

To facilitate stronger collaboration, coordination and readiness of organizations, sectors, and systems to work together to address the entire needs of people and communities. We envision the complex problems we struggle to resolve being served by organizations, services and systems that are as interconnected as the people and communities they support, resulting in healthier, more resilient and self-reliant communities.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.

Program

On its FY2025 return the organization reported starting a significant new program.

C-IMPACT acquired a Maryland State EVEVATES grant to provide job coaching services to students with learning differences. These services were designed to provide students with developmental differences intense job coaching and mentoring, with the intention of getting them successfully hired by the participating employer. The coaching is intentionally designed to rapidly reinforce learning of specific job skills, increase the students endurance, establish support systems like transportation, coach social skills necessary to successfully navigate a professional environment and then to intentionally fade in intensity as the student achieves mastery of those skills and achieves independence. Over the course of this program, 17 students out of 21 (81%) received full-pay employment opportunities while no longer needing a job coach and beating the national average of 20% of special education students being placed in meaningful employment post high school graduation. GREAT has proven that with the proper upfront training support, many of these young people can be fully contributing members of the…
