What Broken Tree Community Center does
Mission
Broken Tree Community Center is a faith-based community which works to empower persons with mild to moderate cognitive and physical differences to live to their fullest potential with dignity and purpose.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.
Programs
Broken Tree Community Center (BTCC) has successfully delivered a meaningful camp experience to individuals who are differently abled for the past ten years. Camp is held at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, which allows for camp experiences including swimming, hiking, rock climbing, campfires, horseback riding, arts and crafts, spirituality, emotional development, and being engaged in nature. Due to popularity, we are now offering a weekend winter camp as well as the 5-day summer camp. In 2024, we were able to serve 13 people per camp. This camp not only helps the campers themselves, but it gives the parents much-needed respite and time to take care of themselves. We have had many parents tell us how much they appreciate the rare break from caregiving responsibilities.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2023, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2023, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2023 to 2024, from $121k to $58k (−52%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
100% of BROKEN TREE COMMUNITY CENTER’s revenue is contributions — about as donation-reliant as the typical peer (100% for the typical peer).
Surplus & reserves
