01What it does

What Brien Holden Vision Institute does

Mission

Our mission is to develop new solutions for vision care and eliminate vision impairment and avoidable blindness, thereby reducing poverty and suffering. Brien Holden Vision Institute will accomplish this goal by providing funds to organizations which directly engage in these activities.

As stated on its FY2021 Form 990-EZ.

Program

We provided: education and vision services to under served populations; glasses and low vision devices to both adults and children; personnel training in regions to better serve the needs of people with vision impairment; and held education meetings to educate and bring awarness to the risk of myopia in children's vision.

The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
