Program
The food pantry has continued to provide food and non-food items (personal care and daily livings needs) to benzie county residents using our modified user-friendly concept; clients who are in need due to fixed to low income, chronic hunger, unemployment or under-employed, or in an emergency situation. Our purpose continues to be to raise hunger awareness and to alleviate food insecurity in our community. In 2025, we served cumulative totals of 884 familes; 1841 residents (including 338 children, 956 seniors over 60 yrs of age and 76 veterans.) we distributed 41,779 pounds of food. We are a member of the northwest food coalition for 28 years. Total program expenses was $ 20,742.
