What Bella's Voice does
Mission
Bella's Voice is a nonprofit focused on animal welfare. We aim to improve the lives of all kinds of animals through donations, education and outreach programs. Animals deserve their needs voiced and provided for, and we aim to fulfill that.
As stated on its FY2025 Form 990.
Programs
Our thrift store serves as the heart of Bella's Voice's mission, generating funds that directly support our animal welfare programs while also providing the community with affordable access to essential goods. For over ten years, our thrift store has offered a place where families can find clothing and household items at low cost, and we've established ourselves as a central donation site for gently used goods. This commitment helps keep usable items out of local landfills, reinforces our eco-friendly values, and supports our mission to aid animals.Through our Charity of the Month (COM) program, we partner with a different local, animal-focused 501(c)(3) organization each month. On a dedicated day, 50% of the thrift store's sales go to the chosen nonprofit. Throughout the month, our team of staff and volunteers actively engages with customers, raising awareness and encouraging donations. Bella's Voice also matches each dollar raised through social media campaigns, providing further support to these nonprofits.

We partner with local food banks to ensure that pet owners can find food for their pets in the same places they seek resources for themselves, providing a comprehensive approach to food security for families with pets. Additionally, Bella's Voice operates its own pet food bank to meet the growing needs of local families, helping them care for their pets and easing financial stress. This program contributed approximately 22,000 pounds of pet food, valued at $10,000 to local pets and families in need.

For many families, this program is the only accessible option for ensuring their pets' health and well-being, especially in emergency situations. This program has been a lifeline for numerous pets, preventing euthanasia or abandonment due to lack of funds for care.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2020, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2020, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.

Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2024 to 2025, from $635k to $805k (+27%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
103% of Bella's Voice’s revenue is contributions — more reliant on donations than three-quarters of its peers (74% for the typical peer).
