01What it does

What Asheville Garage Goblins does

Mission

AVL Garage Goblins (AGG) repairs vehicles for individuals who are homeless or low income. We provide routine maintenance services such as oil changes and brake pads, and larger repairs when needed. We purchase parts if participants cannot and volunteers provide labor free of charge. We also accept donated cars, repair them into safe running condition, then give them away to folks in need of a vehicle.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

  1. In our Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Program we performed 76 repairs for 66 clients. Our volunteers worked at least 954 hours to accomplish this.

Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
