Programs
To produce an annual Artisan Cheese Festival to educate the public the california Artisan Cheese Festival is an annual multi-day public event held in sonoma county that celebrates the craft of artisan cheesemaking through education, community engagement, and direct support of small-scale producers. Now in its 20th year, the festival brings together over 100 artisans, cheesemakers, winemakers, and brewers for a tasting and marketplace that gives the public direct access to hand-crafted products and the makers behind them.

These programs connect consumers directly with the people and places behind artisan food production, providing education on traditional cheesemaking methods and regional food culture. Sessions are led by working industry professionals and are designed to be accessible to both novice enthusiasts and experienced food and beverage professionals.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2022 to 2023, from $95k to $162k (+71%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Government-grant reliance: 2025 10%. Grants only. Government contracts and fees sit inside program revenue.
36% of ARTISAN CHEESE FESTIVAL’s revenue is contributions — more earned-revenue than three-quarters of its peers (94% for the typical peer).
