What Arkansas Realtors Association does
Mission
Trade association organized for realtors doing business in the state of arkansas. The association was established to promote the real estate industry in general and to provide professional development and risk reduction for its members.
As stated on its FY2024 Form 990.
Programs
The association has produced standardized industry forms and software for its membership. The primary purpose is risk (liability) reduction. The forms and software are available for sale only to licensed real estate brokers and agents. Electronic forms are available only to realtors who are members of the association. Paper forms are available to members and non-members.
The association sponsors an annual convention for its members. The convention includes speakers, education seminars, table-top exhibits, and a general exchange of ideas. Approximately 586 persons attended the 2024 convention.
The association sponsors education courses for the benefit of its membership in order that continuing professional education requirements can be met and so that advanced designations can be achieved. Sixteen education courses were held in 2024.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2017, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2017, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2019 to 2020, from $5.8M to $6.6M (+14%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 2 of the last 8 reported years ran a deficit.

Leadership and staff
The officers, directors, trustees and key employees listed on each return. Joined and no longer listed compare each filing with the year before, matching people by surname and first initial; a year after a gap, or a roster under three people, has no comparison.

Left out of every figure on this page: $210k from one payer (the payer shares this organization's board, largest Realtors Relief Foundation). These are real filings, and they are not money ARKANSAS REALTORS ASSOCIATION raised.
