What American Ukranian Relief Association does
Mission
American Ukranian Relief Organization (the Organization) intends to help Ukranians suffering from the war with Russian federation. As a volunteer based organization comprised mostly of Ukranians, the Organization would like to help bring humanitarian aid to those in need. Started informally, the Organization has seen the large scale of donations people want to give and the large scale of volunteers that want to help. The Organization was created to serve as a vehicle.
As stated on its FY2023 Form 990.
Program
Currently the Organization has about 30 active members and 200 volunteers who come to help when needed. The Organization leased a warehouse as it has people and companies bringing boxes and trucks of humanitarian aid donations every day. The Organization collects dry food, hygene items, survival items, first aid and other necessary medications and ships it by air and by sea to Ukraine (through Poland and other European countries) where it is directed to Ukranian nonprofits to distribute to those in need. The Organization has many pictures and videos of people in Ukraine who lost everything they had receiving these boxes of aid. To see how aid is reaching those with the biggest needs is the Organization's biggest motivation. The Organization also plans to give humanitarian and medical aid to Ukranian refugees in the USA.

The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2022, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2022, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended. The shaded band is where the middle 50% of its peers' revenue would sit, given their growth.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2022 to 2023, from $60k to $52k (−12%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
100% of AMERICAN UKRANIAN RELIEF ASSOCIATION’s revenue is contributions — more reliant on donations than three-quarters of its peers (100% for the typical peer).

Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of AMERICAN UKRANIAN RELIEF ASSOCIATION’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of AMERICAN UKRANIAN RELIEF ASSOCIATION's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $12k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
