Mission
Our activities are educational projects. We train individuals to develop computer software. This knowledge will be useful in digital multimedia, graphics, and computer programming. The general public participates in our activities. Our activities are most attractive for young college-age individuals who are interested in professional development. We select participants by their desire to learn and participate in the training schedule. All training organized by online classes. Our schedule includes afternoon and evening classes. Donations cover the cost of training for individuals. We have a program for low-income individuals. We determine the low-income level by the US Federal Poverty Guidelines. We decide to provide free training to individuals after reviewing their federal and state tax returns for the last year. My team and I spend 20 - 40 hours per week on our organizational activities. Our activities are socially oriented.
As stated on its FY2020 Form 990-EZ.

American Association of Innovators - AAI a non-profit organization has helped United States based startups and small businesses transform their ideas into marketable products and services. We focus on high-risk, high-impact technologies - those that show promise but whose success hasn't yet been validated. AAI's goal is to cause there to be more startups, by helping founders to start them. We actively cultivate startup culture, growing communities of entrepreneurs through life events, mentorship, and education to create a more sustainable and inclusive world. Our major outcomes are to foster innovation and help create successful businesses and jobs in the United States. Startups may be small companies; however, they can play a significant role in economic growth. During the unprecedented time of the global pandemic, startups can improve employment patterns providing job opportunities to both experienced and young professionals. They create high-skill jobs that positively influence the economy and accelerate national economic recovery and growth. AAI designed three robust programs to support Information Technology communities and help them achieve their ambitious goals: 1.AAI…

Who funds it, year by year
Grant support over time, funder by funder — shade shows the grant size each year.
1 of 1 of your funders are donor-advised or pass-through sponsors (tagged DAF) — 100% of grant dollars received. That money is really individual donors directing a sponsor; the institutions to cultivate are the non-DAF funders.
From the IRS filings of AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF INNOVATORS INC’s funders (the co-funder graph). Association, not causation. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
Where its funders are
100% of AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF INNOVATORS INC's grant income arrives through donor-advised or pass-through sponsors, whose addresses record where the money is held rather than where the donor is. Too little is directly attributable to place on a map.
Funder states come from each funder’s own filing. $10k arriving through sponsors registered in 1 state is excluded from the map and the split above: a sponsor holds money on a donor’s behalf, so its registered address would place those dollars somewhere no donor need ever have been. Trends are read to FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving. FY2024–FY2026 are still being filed and are shown unshaded; they do not move any figure on this page.
