01What it does

What Altoona Baseball Recreational League does

Mission

To instill sportsmanship and character in the youth of the community.

As stated on its FY2025 Form 990-EZ.

Program

  1. 2024-25 (2025 baseball season) continued our growth and success with the little league model and our partnership as part of southeast polk (sep) little league; from april through july our facility hosted over 400 little league baseball games, a league tournament, and little league all-stars including two state championship tournaments. We were able to expand our weekend baseball tournament scheudule, hosting 10 tournaments that brought thousands of visitors into our community. This also brings in significant field rental and concessions income, which offsets facilities maintenance costs, allowing us to make improvements and keep registration costs down for our little league families.
