What Alliance Against Assault and Abuse does
Mission
The corporation was formed exclusively to support the exempt activities of metropolitan organization to counter sexual assault (mocsa) and child protection center, inc (cpc). The corporation will acquire and manage a facility that will house the activities of both organizations. This will allow the provision of comprehensive services to children, teens, adults, and families who have experienced sexual and/or physical violence, abuse, and/or assault, or child abuse and its resulting trauma.
As stated on its FY2020 Form 990-EZ.
Program
The organization was formed to bring together organizations that support survivors of child abuse and sexual abuse and assault, and to co-locate them to provide the best possible support for survivors. In 2020, due to the pandemic and other factors, it was determined that the purpose of the organization was not feasible at this time and the organization was terminated.
The first program described on its most recent Form 990-EZ.
The organization over time
Each line starts at 100 in 2019, so what you read is the shape rather than the size: 150 means half as much again as 2019, 50 means half. The number beside each label in the key is where it ended.
Balance sheet
Total assets and total liabilities at each year end, in dollars. The largest one-year move in total assets was 2019 to 2020, from $2.3M to $0 (−100%).
How it's funded, over time
Each bar is one year's revenue split into where it came from, and every bar is the same height — these are shares, not amounts, so a year that raised twice as much looks the same size. Hover a bar for the split.
Surplus & reserves
Operating surplus or deficit each year, and months of liquidity in hand. 1 of the last 2 reported years ran a deficit.
