What A Steady Hand Foundation Inc does

Mission

The current annual activity is two golf tournaments, we call putting for parkinson's and drive fore dementia. The board of directors, the officers and multiple volunteers conduct the annual event. The events raise money for parkinson's research, associated parkinson's related causes, and to support the work being done at the ark of sc. A steady hand foundation was established to support these causes and others within the community as deemed necessary. The activity is funded through donations. The majority of the foundation's expenses are allocated to these two events. We work to minimize the expenses to allow the vast majority of the funds raised to be donated to the causes the board deems appropriate. The time spent on this activity is about 10% of each board members's time. They promote the event throughout the year by word of mouth and social media. The month before the events, significant time is dedicated to putting teams together and finding sponsors. These annual events are curr
