01What it does

What Catholic Justice Services Society does

Ongoing programs

1) We operate support and accountability groups (Circles) of 3-4 volunteers who assist an individual sexual offender through weekly meetings and one-on-on contacts to safely and successfully reintegrate into the community. In order to facilitate these groups we recruit screen obtain clearance for and provide training (both basic and advanced) to the volunteers who serve on the support and accountability Circles. We interview and screen ex-offenders who are referred to the program by staff of correctional institutions as well as community correctional staff. 2) We advance education of the reintegration program by giving presentations on the CoSA program at universities and service clubs as well as to parole officers and other staff in the justice system.

As stated on its FY2024 T3010.

the vertical line marks half of all grant income — 2 funders to its left

100% of the income these shares are computed over arrives through pass-through sponsors or from payers whose filings do not say what kind of payment it is. Concentration is still measured over all of it, because the money is real; what it does not support is a claim about how many institutions have chosen to fund CATHOLIC JUSTICE SERVICES SOCIETY.

These figures are read directly from the CRA's published T3010 data: this organization’s own return for FY2024 (financials across 2018–2024), and the filings of 9 funders that report grants to it. “On record” means captured in the filings we have parsed — a funder that does not e-file, or whose grant detail is not itemized, will not appear. Filings run roughly 12–24 months behind. Trends on this page end at FY2023, the last fiscal year that has finished arriving; later years are shown and marked, and move no figure.
